Long-term bike rental in Valencia compared
If you are getting around Valencia every day for months, there are five realistic routes: buy an e-bike, keep a car, buy a public transport pass, rent by the day, or pay a monthly subscription. This table compares those categories rather than named operators, and it uses only figures we already publish.

The car figures come from our own cost of getting around Valencia calculator, and the public transport ones from our metro and bus comparison. Metro and bus fares change by zone and ticket type, so check the current one with ATMV, Metrovalencia or EMT. We do not publish other operators' prices here: the only numbers on this page are ones we can stand behind ourselves.
Being honest about it: if the lowest possible monthly number is all that matters, a second-hand pedal bike beats us. Clover competes on something else. You buy nothing, pay no deposit, never book a workshop slot, do not lose an asset if it is stolen, and you can walk away when your term ends. It is worth reading how an electric bike subscription works in Spain before you decide.
What is included in the monthly rental?
The fee covers the Riese & Müller electric bike, all maintenance and repairs, quarterly checkups, standard theft cover with the replacement handled by Clover, GPS, unlimited battery swaps and roadside support. There is no deposit, no charger at home and no separate workshop bill.

Is this you?
Long-term bike rental makes sense if you will be in Valencia for more than a month and want a bike ready whenever you need it without buying one. If you only need a bike for a weekend, it does not. These are the cases we see most.
You live in Valencia, or you are staying longer than a month.
You commute by bike and want it ready every morning, with no charging and no workshop trips.
You are a student or on Erasmus and need transport for the academic year, not a bike to own.
You are a remote worker moving around the city at odd hours.
You are an expat who has just arrived and does not want to buy anything yet.
In Málaga we open in November 2026, and you can pre-order free, with no payment.
How it works from start to finish
You sign up online in a few minutes, pick the bike up at our Valencia store with a short intro session, ride with everything included, and hand it back when you are done. There is no paperwork in between and nobody comes to value anything.
Pick a plan and a term. Solo or Duo, 1 to 12 months. The longer the term, the lower the monthly fee.
Sign up online. You need a valid DNI, NIE or passport, a bank card in your own name, an address in Spain, and to be over 18. The first month is charged when you subscribe.
Collect the bike at the store. Collection and the intro session are personal: the account holder does both at our store at Carrer Sant Just i Pastor 133. We walk you through the bike, the lock and the battery swap.
Ride. Maintenance, theft cover, GPS, batteries and roadside support are already in the fee. If something breaks, you message us.
Return it when you are done. You cancel in the app or by email and bring the bike back in good condition. Fees run until the bike is actually returned, under clause 3.2 of the Terms and Conditions.
Frequently asked questions
What people ask us about long-term bike rental in Valencia.
Is there a deposit?
No. Clover long-term bike rental has no deposit and no security bond. You pay the first month when you sign up, and then one fee each month, on the same date, until you cancel.
Do you offer monthly bike rental with no minimum term?
Yes. The 1-month Solo plan is monthly bike rental with no minimum term, at 99 €/month, and the Duo equivalent is 149 €/month. You can cancel it whenever you want by returning the bike. The cheaper fees are the ones tied to a longer term.
What happens if the bike breaks?
We fix it. Maintenance and repairs are included in the fee, with quarterly checkups and roadside support if you get stuck. You pay nothing for parts or labour on normal wear and tear.
What happens if it is stolen?
Every plan includes standard theft cover: we handle the replacement so you keep riding. Negligent custody and the other exclusions in clause 4.1 are not covered. The detail is in the Terms and Conditions.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
On the monthly plan, yes, there is no minimum term. You request cancellation in the app or by email and return the bike. Terms of 2 to 12 months do commit you, from 15 calendar days after sign-up: leaving early costs a penalty of 30 % of the remaining fees, under clause 3.2.
What if I change my mind?
The personal Solo and Duo plans come with a 7-day money-back guarantee: if within 7 calendar days of delivery you have ridden under 100 km and the use has been personal, we refund your first month. The full conditions are in clause 3.3 of the Terms and Conditions.
What if I leave Valencia before my term ends?
You return the bike at the store and cancel the subscription. On a monthly plan there is nothing more to pay. On a 2 to 12 month term the early-exit penalty of 30 % of the remaining fees applies.
How many kilometres a month can I ride?
Personal plans cover what the Terms and Conditions call Personal Use: up to 550 km in a monthly billing cycle, and no commercial activity. If you deliver, or ride more than that, a Courier plan is the right one.
